Sales Agronomy Manager – Fargo, ND region
PURPOSE OF POSITION:
This position is responsible for sales of seed, and agronomy products and services for the Company. The right candidate will oversee and manage their own location and bring independence and vibrancy to that location.
RESPONSIBILITIES:
• Initiate sales contacts and present and support the Company Brand products and services. • Grow volume of sales year over year. • Increase customer base year over year. • Actively engage with customers, providing excellent customer service to growers and proactively sharing information with them. • Actively engage in all company training, Field Days, Farmer Meetings, and all other marketing activities providing within the business infrastructure. • Establish personal and location sales goals. Develop a regular sales call strategy with current customers and prospects, which will be reviewed on a weekly basis as the business gets established. Annual sales goals will be expected to be met, with minimums set by management. • Inventory management. • Complete all administrative qualities, in a timely and efficient manner. • Maintain the upkeep and maintenance of the location and facility to build up the store. • Direct supervision of site warehouse personnel.
QUALIFICATIONS:
The ideal candidate will possess the following:
• Agronomy related experience and/or Agronomy degree. • Sales experience. • Leadership skills. • Excellent communication skills and a team player. • Proven ability to manage time and prioritize responsibilities and complete tasks in a timely manner. • Excellent time management skills.
