Seeking a Senior Accountant – Financial Reporting to join the corporate headquarters in the Denver, Colorado area.

The position is responsible for assisting with SEC filings, preparing the Statement of Cash Flows and the Statement of Shareholders' Equity, processing payroll-related transactions, and doing the related account reconciliations for multiple entities.

Who You Are 

• Assist with the preparation of the external reports and filings, including the 10Qs and 10Ks
• Own the cashflow model
• Prepare footnotes and the Statement of Shareholders' Equity
• Assist with the internal and external auditors to ensure compliance
• Assist with verifying the accuracy of financial statements
• Assist with compliance with GAAP principles
• Assist with compliance with Sarbanes-Oxley
• Assist with ongoing accounting projects
• Assist with the monthly General Ledger close
• Book payroll entries for all entities
• Book and reconcile equity-based awards

Requirements & Experience

• B.S. degree in Accounting
• 4-5 years general accounting experience, CPA plus
• NetSuite experience is a plus
• OptionTrax experience is a plus
• Previous SEC filing experience preferred
• Familiarity with financial statements
• Advanced MS Excel skills
• Accuracy and attention to detail
• Understanding of Generally Accepted Accounting Principles (GAAP)
• Strong time management and organizational skills
• Ability to work independently and prioritize tasks
• Strong analytic abilities
• Open and flexible to changes in priorities and timelines
