Location: Southern or West Central Minnesota, or South Dakota!!!
This role will be the point of contact and customer success manager for poultry, swine and occasional dairy/beef accounts in South Dakota and Minnesota. Knowledge of poultry and swine operations, nutrition and feed sources used within the industry is a plus.
We are seeking an experienced and driven Customer Service Manager to join our Sales team. In this role, you will be responsible for fostering long-term, profitable relationships with our key customers. As the primary point of contact, you will ensure their needs are met, identify opportunities to deliver additional value, and drive growth through expanded offerings. This job will require travel, mostly consists of day travel and occasional overnight stays.
What you will do:
Develop and maintain strong relationships with stakeholders within assigned accounts
Understand customers' business objectives, operations, and challenges to identify value creation opportunities
Craft and execute account plans that align resources to exceed customer expectations
Coordinate cross-functional teams to ensure seamless delivery of products and services
Monitor account performance, trends, and future needs to recommend solutions for growth
Proactively anticipate customer requirements and develop solutions that exceed expectations
Identify and champion new products, services, or process improvements to enhance customer experience
Negotiate contracts and assess cost structures to ensure profitability and satisfaction
Build internal and external networks to support account needs and collaboration
Provide customer insights to product development and marketing teams for innovation
Requirements
What you will need:
· Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Marketing, Animal Science, Ag Studies or related field
· Proven track record in account management, customer service, or related roles
· Excellent communication, presentation, and interpersonal skills
· Strong problem-solving and analytical abilities
· Ability to manage multiple priorities and work collaboratively across teams
· Customer-centric mindset with a passion for exceptional service
· Knowledge of the industry and competitive landscape is preferred
